AutoNav's Easy-To-Use Single Station Hydraulic Steering System

AutoNav's Easy-To-Install Two-Station Manual Hydraulic Steering System With Dual Cylinders, Twin Rudder, and Autopilot Drive

Quality and Performance are built into Autonav's basic system.

The Series 2000 is easy to install and even easier to use. Only two components, the helm pump and steering cylinder are necessary to provide a reliable and maintenance-free system. The helm pump, with integral reservoir, fills the system and compensates for oil expansion. Turning the steering wheel directly operates a highly efficient multi-piston axial swash plate pump which directs oil down the steering lines to the cylinder. The cylinder instantly responds to minimum efforts on the wheel and operates the rudder through a tiller to steer the vessel. When the wheel is stopped, an automatic lock valve in the helm pump isolates the steering wheel from rudder loads, or other forces generated by auxiliary power steering or autopilot.

With multiple stations, steering wheels not in use do not turn. This eliminates dangerous rudder kickback, often common in mechanical steering. Additional stations, autopilots or auxiliary power steering are easily connected simply by piping into the system. Complicated piping and pressurized reservoirs are eliminated with this effortless new system.

Quality, Reliability and Superior Performance based on 60 Years Experience.
